St. Patrick blesses The Elms

To be sure, to be sure - it was a sea of green at The Elms, with almost 100 guests celebrating St. Patrick’s Day on Tuesday 17 March.

The Elms family played host to enthusiastic guests from Kilmore and other Victorian towns including Kyneton, Heathcote, Lancefield, Seymour, Wallan, Whittlesea and Yarrawonga to name a few, who were invited to celebrate the day of tribute to Ireland and one of its patron saints.

Guests relished in the opportunity to experience first-hand the outstanding Country Club facilities, including the indoor pool and spa, bowling green, gym, theatre, outdoor pavilion, bar and lounge.

They also enjoyed the company of residents, offering a personal account of life at The Elms, on guided tours of the village and while indulging in an Irish food fair lunch accompanied by a wee glass of ‘Guinness or Baileys Irish Cream’.

In keeping with the ‘luck of the Irish’ theme, St. Patrick, patron saint of Ireland, even made an appearance sharing blessings with guests and residents.

While some guests were intent on experiencing everything, others were content to feel right at home relaxing in the bar and lounge enjoying entertainment courtesy of Irish folk band, Folk Train.

Feedback was extremely positive, with all guests impressed with the wonderful Country Club facilities, the size, layout and finishes of the villas and the overall community spirit on offer at The Elms, so much so that 3 new deposits were taken on the day.

For those who were not able to make it on the day or who haven’t yet experienced the wonderful community spirit of The Elms, it’s not too late to consider making the tree change that leaves the others in the shade.
