Mothers Day Afternoon Tea
Residents of The Elms Village recently celebrated ‘Mother’s Day’ with an afternoon tea and line dancing display.
Our ‘Mothers’ were treated to a sumptuous afternoon tea with all the trimmings. A glass of champagne along with scones with jam & cream and fabulous sponge cakes were on the menu.
As always, there was plenty of cups of tea and laughs as everyone enjoyed themselves.
Line dancing at the village is very popular with classes being held each Wednesday evening.
Once the display started it was not long before our resident dancers took over the floor and showed off their boot scooting talent.
As well as being a lot of fun, line dancing is a great way to keep fit and stay ‘in shape’ , especially after a big afternoon tea!
